working principle
One of the necessary working conditions for the calendering process: the friction angle ρ between the rubber material and the roller must be greater than the contact angle α, so that the rubber material will be pulled into the roller gap. During the calendering process of the four-roller calender, the rollers work at a certain speed ratio to further knead the rubber material and increase its plasticity. Finally, it is calendered to a certain thickness and width through the minimum roller distance. The film is squeezed onto the textile or steel cord under the action of the roller's squeezing force. Some need to be pressed into certain patterns and shapes, and some need to combine multiple layers of film with different uses, colors, and shapes.
